TCGplayer is hiring Shipping & Receiving Specialists to work out of our office in Syracuse, New York.

Shipping & Receiving Specialist

TCGplayer is the largest Internet retail marketplace for collectible gaming, and we’re looking for talented individuals to help us continue our expansion. Ideal candidates will have a strong passion for gaming, experience with shipping packages, and their own zombie apocalypse survival plan. If that sounds perfect, our Shipping and Receiving Specialist position might be the job for you.

This is an exciting opportunity work along side the best people in the industry from our ecommerce business headquarters in downtown Syracuse, New York.

This job will entail the following duties:

• Counting, sorting and filing of cards, products, and supplies.
• Accurate order fulfillment.
• Packaging and shipping of orders on a deadline.
• Maintaining, updating, and creating data spreadsheets.
• Watch for and communicate emerging trends in relation to customer service needs and expectations.
• Development of concepts for website/office/shipping features to support our growing line of products.
• Duties may increase, change, or be eliminated over time to meet customer demands.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Familiarity with use of web forms.
• Strong counting skills needed.
• Ability to work both within a team environment and independently.
• Highly organized and detail­ oriented.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with Google Docs and Excel is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of Magic: The Gathering is essential.
• Knowledge of hobby games like Yugioh and Pokemon is a huge plus, but not required.
