Customer Service Representative

TCGplayer is seeking an enthusiastic Customer Service Representative.You'll work closely with an outgoing team to answer questions and resolve issues from Buyers and Sellers on our website. You'll also coordinate with our Shipping Team to provide great customer service at every step of the way.

This job will entail the following duties:

  • Answer customer requests, questions, and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Maintain, update, and create data spreadsheets.
  • Watch for and communicate emerging trends in customer needs and expectations.
  • Create or revise policies based upon customer feedback.
  • Manage several daily administrative reports.
  • Identify any escalated customer issues that need immediate resolution.
  • Use Microsoft Office and Google Docs products on a daily basis, including Word, Excel, and email, to perform data entry and communicate with customers.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in retail or related field.
  • Must have strong overall computer skills with an emphasis in email and word processing.
  • Familiarity with new release cycles for the gaming industry.
  • Ability to promptly answer support-related emails, phone calls, and other electronic communications.
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
